Every time it infuriates me: You sit quietly, play, and then here you are:

You cannot play on secure servers for one of the following reasons:

1.Your computer is blocking the VAC system.
2.The computer cannot establish a stable connection with the VAC servers.
3. Applications are running on the computer that affect game files and are incompatible with VAC.

And everything is okay with me:
I made all the Steam recommendations several times. Only system files and applications are running on my computer (Except Steam and CS:GO). And I have never changed the game files, i.e. I have never downloaded SkinChenger WallHack AIM, etc. I have several “Strong” antiviruses and I don’t know how to fix this problem.
HELP!

Read the manual, maybe you did something wrong

Questions:

1. Did you install the latest driver for your video card after installing Windows?

2. Where is the steam and game (indicate the full address)? For example, I have Steam and the game in one local drive D and without Russian Cyrillic characters:
Steam - D:\Program Files\Steam\
Game - D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive
Where are you?

4. Have you enabled DEP? Same as in the screenshot -
Start > Control Panel > System
Left column, click "Advanced system settings"
Select the "Advanced" - "Performance" tab, click the "Options..." button
Select the "Data Execution Prevention" tab
If not, then make 2 videos in the guide.

5. Did you remove unnecessary ones through “Set launch options”? Select the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the library and click the second mouse button, select "Properties", then select the "General" tab, click the "Set launch options" button.

6. Did you turn off "Windows Management Instrumentation" in the manual?

7. Have you changed the graphics settings for your video card? So that the game is stable and no longer crashes.

8. Did you check the virus using the "Dr.Web Cureit!" utility? Download from here and that's it.

9. If CS:GO crashes after 2-5 seconds (during startup, the screen is black and crashes on the desktop)? Try deleting the d3d9.dll file located in the directory...\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\bin\ and that’s it.

If the instructions did not help 100%, then install Windows 7 SP1 x64 (DEP must be enabled by default), then install fresh drivers for the mother and video card, then install programs (Antivirus, ICQ, Torrent, Skype, Steam, Origin, browsers and others) and forget...

Good luck;)

I didn’t understand how to complete steps 3,6,7. Please tell me

So, if you have this problem, here are several ways to solve it, we try everything until it helps.

Method 1

Watch the video and do as it says or you can do it according to the instructions:
1) Exit Steam.
2) Go to Start, then in the “Search files and programs” line, write cmd, the cmd icon will appear above, right-click on it and Run as administrator. A command line will appear (black sign), insert this there:
bcdedit.exe /set (current) nx OptIn (Ctrl+V will not work)
and press the Enter key.
Close the command line and restart the computer!

Method 2

Step 1. Log out of Steam (not from the profile (logout), but simply close it so that it doesn’t hang in the tray or in the task manager)
Step 2. Go to the Steam folder (C:\Program Files\Steam\ by default)
Step 3. Rename the config and userdata folders (you can delete them altogether, but it’s better to make a backup by renaming) for example to config1 and userdata1, respectively
Step 4. Delete the ClientRegistry.blob file
Step 5. Log in to the Steam client again, enter your username and password.

Method 3
https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=2117-ILZV-2837
We follow the link and do as Uncle Gabe tells us. All instructions are in Russian, there should be no problems.

Method 4

Select the game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive in the library and click the second mouse button, select "Properties", then select the "Local Files" tab, and click the "Check Cache Integrity" button.

The correct path is D:\Program Files\Steam (strictly without Russian characters!!!) or what? How to find out video cards? - Start > Control Panel > Device Manager > Video adapter. What Windows and how to find out the system type: 32bit or 64bit? - Start > Control Panel > System. You need to install the latest drivers for your video card - NVIDIA GeForce Driver or ATI AMD Radeon Driver.

Updated Microsoft .NET Framework, Microsoft Visual C++, Microsoft XNA Framework and so on, isn't it fate?

Some games can’t run with Russian characters and that’s it, if it’s not clear, then:
Incorrect example: D:\Games\Steam\
Correct example: D:\Games\Steam\

Here's an example:
Steam - D:\Program Files\Steam\
Game - D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive
C: Steam + C: CSGO = works
D: Steam + D: CSGO = works
C: Steam + D: CSGO = fail (not working)
D: Steam + E: CSGO = fail (not working)

I had it in the setup and it hasn’t crashed yet:

Video - optional

Overall shadow quality is average
Detail of models and textures - average
Effect detail - average
Shader detail - average
Multi-core processing - incl.
Multi-sampling anti-aliasing mode - no
Texture filtering mode - Trilinear

Vertical. synchronization - off
Motion blur - off.

Here are the fix methods:

Video - optional

Overall quality of shadows - very poor or more
Detail of models and textures - low or more
Effect detail - low or more
Shader detail - low or more
Multi-core processing - off. (if the processor has 4 cores or more, then on)
Multi-sampling anti-aliasing mode - none or more
Texture filtering mode - Bilinear and more
Anti-aliasing with FXAA - off.
Vertical. synchronization - off
Motion blur - off.

Or in the video.txt file (located D:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\common\Counter-Strike Global Offensive\csgo\cfg) you need to switch

"Settings.mat_queue_mode" "-1" / "1" or "2" to "0" or "-2"

"setting.gpu_mem_level" "1" or "0" (try both)

"setting.mem_level" "1" or "0" (try both)

And about the last method:
Start > Control Panel > System and Security > Administrative Tools > Services > Look for “Windows Management Tools” in the list and right-click on it > Properties, there will be “Startup Type”, set it to “Disabled”, then click “Stop”.
Accept all the outages that exist)

If this does not help, method number 5 is manual.

After the recent VAC update, a new requirement for the system appeared - that DEP (Data Execution Prevention) be enabled. If you have this error, but DEP is enabled, then the problem is somewhere else.

In order to check whether DEP is enabled or not, you need to:

– log in as an Administrator or a member of the Administrators group;
– click Start –> Control Panel –> System;
– in the “System Properties” window that opens, open the Advanced tab –> Performance –> Settings...;
– in the “Performance Options” window that opens, open the “Data Execution Prevention” tab;
– enter the administrator password or password confirmation if prompted;

If the parameter is not available, then DEP is disabled. To enable it:

– click the Start button;
– in the “Search programs and files” text box, enter cmd;
– in the list that appears (under the Programs heading), right-click cmd.exe;
– from the context menu, select “Run as administrator”;
– enter the password if prompted;
– in the Windows Command Interpreter window that opens, after the system prompt, enter the command bcdedit.exe /set (current) nx OptIn
– press Enter;
– the message “Operation completed successfully” will appear;
– close the “Windows Command Interpreter” window;
– restart your PC.

More and more games on Steam are starting to move towards multiplayer modes. Solo campaigns have long been replaced by exciting battles with your friends in different fictional universes. But the pleasure of playing online games is often disrupted by an error "Your computer is blocking the VAC system". Thousands of CS:GO and Dota 2 fans began to look for answers, what does it all mean? Why exactly can't I play? secure servers? It’s worth first understanding the principle of building online games.

VAC Block Notification

Let's first understand the VAC system. VAC program is a special security system for the entire gaming platform based on Steam. It was created with one purpose - to put players in the same conditions. This means that anyone who tries to use cheats will be banned. The ban does not only apply to the game Dota2 or CS:GO, the entire user account. The end result is the appearance of a message - “Your computer is blocking the VAC system. You cannot play on secure servers".

You can immediately hear many objections from honest players. It is logical to think that this cannot happen with a fair game, but in reality it is not so. VAC responds to all installed utilities on the computer. If at least one program causes concern, then you should expect blocking. The fault may also be viruses. Their activities affect not only the PC, but also the work of Steam.

Reasons for account blocking?

The obvious answer is fair game. There is no need to look for ways to deceive the system for millions of dollars, on which the company’s best IT specialists worked Valve. In 90% of cases everything will be revealed. Show respect to other players and start thinking more with your head so that your battle statistics have a positive trend. Other reasons for a ban include:

  1. Systematic shutdown games during battle;
  2. Numerous complaints from other players;
  3. Creation fixed matches between opposing teams;

Steam algorithms monitor all unnatural actions of players and immediately block the player.

Valve has officially informed players about the presence of such security measures. Therefore, in solving the blocking there are methods from both officials and ordinary players. Each method is effective in its own way.

  1. To start restart your PC and router or network settings and try to start it.
  2. Try running the Steam client from under administrator.
  3. There may be a conflict with drivers - boot your PC via F8 and select the option to disable driver signature verification. We launch it, if it works, update the drivers.
  4. Visit official page Steam- provides comprehensive information about the problem of blocking by the VAC system. Pay special attention to the list unwanted programs, which need to be disabled while Steam is running.
  5. Support. Write to Steam Support from your account. Explain the situation in as much detail as possible. Tell us your sequence of actions before blocking VAC. Perhaps there were interruptions in the Internet and therefore exits from the game occurred frequently. The main thing is to show sincerity in communication.
  6. If the error occurs while playing Dota 2 or CS:GO, try change servers.

Let's try it via the command line

  1. Disable complex background programs to run alongside your operating system.
  2. Restart your computer. First visit to check

Also here is a video review with entering a slightly different command via:

Solving VAC blocking in CS:GO and Dota 2 via “Run”

Bring up the “Run” menu using WIN (logo key) + R. Find the following file on your computer in the Steam folder: SteamService.exe. Copy the path to it. Paste into the called menu and add the command /repair. After a few minutes, check - everything will work.
