When using Windows XP, the easiest way to get to the desired installation is to start by right-clicking on the desktop background image. Among the list of commands in the resulting context menu there will be an item "Properties" - select it.
The rightmost tab in the window that opens is called "Settings" - go to this tab and in the lower left corner you will find the element (slider) that controls the change in screen resolution. There is another way to access this tab of the display settings window. If you open the main menu, select the “Control Panel” item in it, click the “Appearance and Themes” link in the panel that opens and select the “Change screen resolution” task, then this tab will open.
Move the slider to the screen resolution setting you want and click Apply. The operating system will scale the image according to your choice for 15 seconds, displaying a timer dialog box on the screen. If the new scale suits you, then click the "Yes" button, and if not, just wait for the timer to finish counting down and the screen resolution will return to its original value to give you the opportunity to choose another option.
When using Windows Vista or Windows 7, the context menu that appears when you right-click on the desktop background image has the line "Screen Resolution" - select it. With this action, you will launch the window of the operating system component, in which, by clicking on the "Resolution" button, a list of resolution options with a vertical slider is opened. Move it around to set the desired value, and then click the "Apply" button.
Scaling is the visual resizing of a page or image without changing the data. You can scale pages on your computer directly in the shell of the program itself or using a special Windows application called Magnifier.

To zoom in on any part of the screen, while leaving the rest of the field at the original scale of 100%, call "Magnifier". To do this, go to "Start", "All Programs", "Accessories". In the standard programs category, find the Accessibility folder and select Magnifier. A special transparent window will appear on the screen, highlighted with a gray border. After that, an additional window will open where you need to find "General Settings". Here the user can change a variety of page display options. On the "Web pages" tab, the user can choose the most appropriate page scale (it is measured in percentages). In addition, pages in the browser can be resized so that they fit in the width. To do this, just click on the appropriate button.
To change the scale of pages in the Google Chrome browser, you must click on the gear (wrench) icon, which is located in the upper right corner of the window, and in the menu that appears, select "Settings and Controls" and then indicate the optimal scale. In new versions of the program, changing the scale can be easier. To do this, you also need to click on the gear image and find the "Scale" item. By clicking plus or minus, you can zoom in or out on the page.
