Vodafone has the smallest coverage among the top three operators, while Digi uses Telenor's data network.
I have used Vodafone on past trips to Budapest but now use Telenor due to better coverage and cost. In addition, Vodafone also has a reputation for being difficult for foreigners who do not speak Hungarian. My choice was simple, I chose Telenor because their plans include free access to some instant messengers, which is important to me.

Vodafone is the only operator currently offering the purchase of a SIM card at Budapest Airport. If you wish to purchase a SIM card from one of the other providers, you will need to do so when you reach the city.

Replenishment is very simple and there are several methods.
